How is everyone doing now that we're two months into the new year? Keeping motivated late winter?

February has put a standstill to much of my exercise. We've had almost daily weather warnings since about the 2nd or so. I was able to squeeze in a couple of runs, but it's far too cold for walking outside, with most days below -30C if you include the windchill. I think I might have to drive myself to a shopping mall this weekend just to stretch the legs, or hit up a treadmill. Hope it's warmer where you all are.

Oh runswithdogs, I'm feeling cold just reading your post! We've had balmy spring sunshine for the last few days, so I've been out for 2 decent walks. I do hope it warms up soon over there across the pond, so you can enjoy being outside again. Take care x

brrrr ❄️ that sounds cold. We have been having Spring the last couple of days in London me I have been loving it. I’m still keeping going with my Move every day RED February now. Just slow and steady for me. Hope you get to go out soon. Rfc x

Ah spring. What is that again? Temperatures are supposed to climb mid-week, so I'm hoping to get out, but it coincides with my mother having surgery. So we'll see. This month is testing my patience. This RED business sounds interesting, I know a few people doing it.

I not surprised you sound like you have a lot going on. Don’t forget to look after yourself as well as the rest of your family. Take care. Rfc xxx

Great thanks. Done 4 miles today and have planned a long one tomorrow.

I walk anyway rain or shine and also when it was icy a couple of weeks ago but stuck to the main roads where the shops were that were gritted.

Fantastic! That's great that you are fitting in extra steps at work. I could probably add some more to my work day. How are you doing it? Walking the long way around to things? Walk breaks?

Wow - that's great Caromio2015 - your dedication will surely pay dividends!
