Burst water pipe next door, so I've had only a trickle of water for some hours! And the stopcock for both houses is in my utility room, so I've had the workman in and out. The thought of walking round the block sounds really good to me!

I hope the burst pipe did not cause any damage to your house or furnishings. I live on a fairly large block. It takes about 8-9 minutes to do a brisk walk around it. On a rainy day or when I might not be feeling in top shape, this course works well. I can always stop if I need to.
