I live on a steep hill and I’m 74. I can’t walk briskly uphill for 10 minutes non-stop, and I can’t walk downhill - or anywhere - without coming to a road every couple of minutes and, as I live in a city, I have to stop for traffic. This prevents me getting 10 minures’ Consecutive walking. The app is too sensitive, it ought to take into account a slight pause for road crossing.

Hi Jillcrow - I don't use the app at all! Everything hi-tech scares me! But you can claim your reward badges here - so when you've achieved your goal (allowing for crossing roads etc) you just claim the level of badge you've earned!

healthunlocked.com/active10 is the link, but if you have a problem doing it there will be a post going up tomorrow that will lead you through it. Well done on getting fitter!

Hi Jillcrow - hope you're having a good Sunday! If you reply to Realfoodieclub's today's post.....It's the weekend... claiming the badge you've earned, we can activate it and it will be displayed next to your name on the forum! You can only have one at a time, so make sure you claim the highest one you've achieved!

Hopefully they update the app as time goes on and take advice from the people out using it. Good work on the walking, let us know how you get on.
