Hi does anyone know whether you need to count fat content in foods. I find that I am managing to keep my calories down but my fat content per day goes from 30gms to 40 gms. Is this too much? Thanks. Lindyloom

We are here to help you burn off those calories afterwards. I think you might find on the other forum that 30grams might be a little low, but ask advice from those that know over on the other forum. Keep coming back on here as well as we can help you burn off the calories and keep you motivated.

To lose weight one needs to reduce carbs and increase fat intake. Lchf diet. And extremely obese people need to take keto diet with ketogenic ratio 3-4:1. The good fats are coconut oil, evoo for dressing, ghee made by fermentation, avocado oil, palm kernel oil, mct and few other oils.
Meat from fish and grass fed animals. Fat meat rather than lean meat is prefered. Foods to be avoided are sugar, refine flour, root vegetables, rice etc. High gi gl foods.
