Third day and I did a 6 mile walk so very pleased with myself. Tomorrow I'm back to work and often I find it hard to motivate myself to do extra steps after work as the evenings are dark and cold. I have an active job and can do about 8000 at work, it's that extra 2000 that seem to pass me by...

Well done Mazzy, that's a very good achievement. It's good that you have an active job but are you able to walk to work to add up the extra steps/catch a bus further away, park the car further away? This is just a thought.

It is very hard to keep up the exercise when working.

Gosh, you are doing so well getting in 8000 a day! Walking in winter in the dark is not so appealing - how about a walk at lunchtime?

Thanks for all your tips, I managed my 10000 for the last couple of days 👍🏼 But realistically speaking I'm not going to go walking after I come home from work, yes I will have to think of another way. Maybe venture out during lunch or as has been suggested parking that bit further away .
