Happy New Year to all our dog walkers and our lovely canine companions.
What were the best walks from the festive period for you all? Did you take our canine friends anywhere special?

Big Moor yesterday, Derwent Edge, and Wooden Pole at Longshaw in the snow. The usual but our usual is rather special.
But oddly enough some of the nicest walks were little turns around the park in the dark and wet with the festive lights. G exercised her nose (which is the most important exercise for the canine) and it cleared my head.
We have enjoyed lots of walks while visiting family in Exmoor. The first week was dry and views across the coastline and moor were wonderful (wish I could add a photo!). Unfortunately heavy rain has now turned the footpaths and tracks to slippy mud. That means muddy boots and paws and cold dips in the rushing streams before returning home (dogs not humans!!😉). Happy walkies everyone 😊
We didn't get out for walks over the festive period. Temperature dipped to -29C here, too cold for my short haired, little old lady mutt. We've started a few walks again the past few days since the weather improved, just down a couple of houses and back because of her poor joints. She couldn't be happier.
Yes. My daughter and I went up to Virginia Water with three Beagles and proceeded to loose two of them. No surprise there just too a while to bring them back onto the the leads again.
It was beautiful.
