Welcome to our virtual walking group. We are here to support and encourage. I always find that being part of a group helps to keep the motivation going and makes it more fun.
Whatever the walking goals you are working towards is fine, it is all about encouraging each other to achieve those little goals as we progress.
Please feel free to post as many times as you like through the week and the at the beginning of the new week I will put a new post up. I'm going to number the posts but that's more for my benefit but if you want to use the weeks to set yourself goals please do.
Wishing you a happy healthy week and happy walking. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐๐๐.

Evening all, I had a bit of a lazy day today just pottering around the house. This evening I needed to run an errand to pick something up, it was lovely weather so I put on my walking shoes and set off. It was a 6.36 mile round trip up a rather steep hill and through parkland on the way back. I clocked up 14,500 steps ๐
My walking week is going well, clocked up another 6 miles yesterday and 4.8 miles today so that's a 3 day step goal completed.
Tomorrow I have an appointment in town and I aim to walk the mile and a half there and back. Then later on I'll probably go to Pilates and again I aim to walk the mile there and back. Hope the weather is kind to me!
