Welcome to our virtual walking group. We are here to support and encourage. I always find that being part of a group helps to keep the motivation going and makes it more fun.

Whatever the walking goals you are working towards is fine, it is all about encouraging each other to achieve those little goals as we progress.

Please feel free to post as many times as you like through the week and the at the beginning of the new week I will put a new post up. I'm going to number the posts but that's more for my benefit but if you want to use the weeks to set yourself goals please do.

Wishing you a happy healthy week and happy walking. πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

How is everyone getting on with their walking? I chugging along with mine, my energy seems to dip in the gutter every now and then but I think it is after I have over done things a bit so I still have to be mindful about my recovery. ☹️.

Can I join? I am walking at least 10000 steps a day. Today the count up till now is 11459 and 120 active minutes as I did a 30 min swim as well. I walked even though it was drizzling and my hair frizzes in the rain. That's dedication!

Of course you can join, welcome onboard. I know that feeling. I have a 2.5 km walk to the pool and if it is raining I keep telling myself, I am only going to get wet and then on the 2.5km back I tell myself well..... I'm wet already. We all, have our little tricks to get us out there πŸ˜€ I have added your name in.

Hi! Im Kay. Can i join you all too please? My fitbit target is 10,000 steps a day which i usually do hit. (Unless its a lovely lazy sunday! Then im lucky to do 8,500!) Im up to 11,570 at the mo so will prob finish today around 13-14,000 steps by the time ive finished faffing around! I have lost a stone and a half since May and want to loose another 10lbs. Finding im walking quicker now ive lost weight.
