New Hip

Hi I had a new hip back in 2015 but never really did much walking other than day to day stuff. I have now picked up on my walking I can do 4 miles in 1hr 15 this includes a long steep hill . I'm just worried I may be over doing things I'm finding I can feel my hip more than I used to. Does anyone know if this is normal and its only because I'm now building my muscles around it?

PS

Is there any walking clubs near Huddersfield I can look at joining ?

I would check with your Gp reference over doing things, I find they are great for helping to get the confidence you need to push forward and are usually very supportive.
