Yes, I have been doing 3/5 miles but still sticking to my calories the upper range too. I do my walking in 2 stints and eat porridge after the 1st. Second walk in the afternoon and have fruit afterwards.
I'm not sure what sort of diet your on but be careful not to go under the recommended minimum 1200 kcal. 3/5 miles can be around 300ish kcal of exercise.
You can eat food - and lots of it!!!! - provided it is the right kind of food. A small amount of meat/chicken/fish with a large amount of roasted veggetables and a slice of the heaviest and most solid bread you can find, will fill you and keep you filled for hours.
Thanks Bazza will try that. I think because I am trying to lose weight and have reduced my intake of calories NHS recommended and increased my walking just feeling ravenous.
Stay strong!!! Once you have been on the diet for a month you won't have the cravings that you do in the beginning of the diet.. i've been on the diet for three months now, and have lost 15.1 pounds.
I found some great recipes on the DaVita webpage.. good luck!💜
