I had an onset of severe depression 3 months ago. I've noticed drinking plenty of water helps and even sometimes stops the depression dead in its tracks. The usual 8 glasses a day doesn't seem enough. I need more like 12-16. It doesn't seem consistent though.
I'm wondering if it could be a health issue. It doesn't seem right for someone to be bloated on water to feel normal. I thought maybe it was my blood sugar, last test was 6.0(3.5-6.0) but sugary foods doesn't seem to effect it.
