sertraline and Nortriptyline

anyone been on both

I’m on 10mg of nortriptyline for nerve pain but my panic attacks and anxiety is back at an all time high . I’ve been given 50mg of sertraline to take and told to wean off one and start the other and there can be a cross over .. this makes my anxiety worse .. any one done this

That must be a bit daunting for you,

I have done similar with other meds and it wasn't too bad but and a big BUT providing you wean off really slowly and very small amounts, it was okay.

Having another to start is helpful, but always chat with your Dr if you have any concerns.

Hopefully, others will have experience to share.

Hi I'm on 125mg sertraline for anxiety dr put me on 10mg of Nortriptaline for nerve pain never told me to come off Amitriptaline
