PCa and macular degeneration
FYI, the AREDS2 formula is: 500 mg vitamin C 400 IU vitamin E 10 mg lutein 2 mg
zeaxanthin
80 mg zinc 2 mg copper NIH literature refers to this as a high dose of anti-oxidants. Finally, here is my question for those of you that know more about supplements than I do.

Vit D vit c folate 400ug and
zeaxanthin
and Lutein daily. I've stopped b12 spray and tablets as now on injections. My intrinsic factor and caeliac negative. So is it possible to only have b12 defiency with neurological symptoms? My diet is good and I eat meat. Still a mystery how I've got so ill.

I don't know if taking Macushield Gold, as the first doctor recommended, contributed to my good response to treatment but I did take it for a few months but now take a much cheaper product with bilberry, Lutein and
zeaxanthin

Retinex Max supplements; worth it or a waste of money?
Asked nurses if supplements such as Retinex Max (sold by Healthspan) containing Lutein (Free Base) 20mg,
Zeaxanthin
2,000ug, Vitamin B2 1.4mg (100% NRV). They said some find it helps but suggested I ask on here. Not too expensive if it's going to help and save the other eye from Wet AMD?

I have also started taking supplements of lutein and
zeaxanthin
in an effort to save my other eye, which is mildly affected but as yet the vision is not distorted.
