I had to phone my doctors about a week ago to find out and book my annual reviews. As the receptionist was going through the reviews I'm due, I had to double check one with her as I wasn't sure if I misheard her or not, so I said,"did you say COPD?"
and the receptionist said that she did and I'd said that I have never been diagnosed with COPD.
I have asthma which is my only respiratory condition.
The receptionist was really nice and helpful as she booked me in for my reviews I knew I had and to ask the nurse about the COPD as it maybe a mistake, which I am hoping it is.
Has anyone been told that they this or something similar even though you have never been diagnosed with the condition before?
It's not the first time I've found something out about myself as i had my work capability assessment done a few months ago and as I was talking to the health care worker she said that on my medical report that she had in front of her it says that I have a learning disability or difficulty (I can't remember which) and she asked me at least twice if I knew what it was and I'd told her honestly that I didn't know as I didn't even know that I had been diagnosed with a learning disability or difficulty.
