Struggling with Sleep: Anyone Else?

Hey everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share something that’s been bothering me lately and see if anyone else is going through the same thing.

For the past few months, I’ve been having a really hard time sleeping. I’ll lie in bed for hours, staring at the ceiling, and my mind just won’t shut off. Sometimes I feel super tired during the day, but when it’s time to sleep, it’s like my brain decides to party instead!

I’ve tried a few things to help, like drinking herbal tea and putting my phone away an hour before bed. I even tried counting sheep (which didn’t work, by the way!). But nothing seems to help.

I know sleep is super important for our health, and I’m starting to worry about how this is affecting me. I feel more anxious and sometimes a bit grumpy, which isn’t fun for me or the people around me.

Has anyone else dealt with sleep issues like this? What helped you? I’d love to hear your stories or any tips you might have. Thanks for reading!

Hi - sleep has been a problem since 2o20, I found an app its from a group I think in New York and was recommended fron a support group during the height of covid. It seems odd at first and counter intuitive but I think we’ll researched. He tells a story and uses his voice to allow the person listening to drift away. His voice is like a changing sound … so u get bored and focus on nothing … It’s free and you can register if you want and donate… I use the free version nearly every night …. Hope it works for you . They seem to understand the ruminating mind and it seems to work …
