I’ve seen some people stating that mounjaro helped with there endo symptoms. Has anyone else tried it? Did it help?

🤔 what is mounjaro?
Mounjaro is a type of medication you might need to take if you have type 2 diabetes.
This medication works by activating two receptors called GLP-1 and GIP to increase the level of incretins – hormones - in the body.
It works by helping your body to produce more insulin when needed. It also reduces the amount of glucose, or sugar, produced by the liver, and slows down how quickly food is digested. This all helps to lower blood sugar levels and HbA1c.
I've been on mounjaro for 4 weeks now. I wouldn't say that it's "helped" the endo as it's actually making the contraceptive pill less effective so I am bleeding, albeit only lightly, though this also happens for me when just losing weight normally with no mounjaro so wouldn't exclusively blame mounjaro there. I believe it is something to do with the hormones being stored in fat that get released but may be wrong. However my end goal is to lose weight and thus improve a host of medical issues such as endo, back pain, asthma in the long term. For me then short term pain is a long term gain! When the bleeding has stopped I have noticed more vitality to myself and perhaps less aches and inflammation but I would say this is a bonus of losing weight.
I've been on Mounjaro for 7 weeks now and have lost 1 stone 2lbs. I've still about 3 stone to go. I'm on Dienogest for my endo and I was worried the Mounjaro would make it less effective but I've been absolutely fine. I had some random bleeding the first couple of weeks but nothing since 🤞 and the pain hasn't returned.Give me a shout if you have any questions about Mounjaro (not that I'm an expert by any means). I also can give you a discount code that makes it a bit more affordable if you decide to try it.
