Hi there. I’m currently in menopause for the past 2 years. About 6 months ago I started waking up with seems like internal vibrations, feels like my heart is racing but it’s not. I’ve checked. My blood sugar is normal and only had 2 readings of 3.8 upon wakening. Not sure what this is but soon as have some electrolyte tablets or a glucose tab I feel better.

Menopause Morning Anxiety
I'm 55 and 2 yrs into menopause. Starting last January, I wake up with shaking, anxiety, and have to go #2... Drove me to get on Lexapro and HRT (estradiol patch .05, micronized progesterone pill 100). When I get a dosage change I get some relief for a few weeks, but it comes back. Maybe not as extreme but still scary. I might have to, yet again, get an increase in the estradiol. I like your idea of electrolytes and glucose tab. What do you use to get your electrolytes?
I am post menopausal and feel the same! I wake up early before dawn with anxiety, feel like i am vibrating, heart racing etc. and if I fall back asleep it starts again. I don't have any good answers but I keep trying different things. I go to sleep feeling quite peaceful and wake up feeling awful. Its good you have found something that helps.
