Anyone else get breast pain with Costochondritis? I’ve had pain in my breasts when pressed for a few weeks now. Been to doctor twice, and they don’t seem concerned at all, diagnosed me with Costochondritis. I do get the occasional pain down the centre of my chest or side of my breasts but nothing unbearable. Convinced myself my breast pain was something much more serious but doctor’s don’t seem worried (Doctor says as I’m only 29 and breast pain isn’t usually a sign of anything more serious, a breast clinic won’t do anything). Just wondered if anyone else has had breast pain due to Costochondritis too??

Hi Katie. Did you do any scan, ECG or physio? I was diagnosed with Costochondritis three years ago. The heavy lifting, constipation, and poor posture could make it worse. I feel better from seeing physio and doing regular exercise which they have taught me. I still feel the pain sometime, and my GP has referred me to see cardiologist.

I’ve had nothing like that. I went to the doctors with breast pain twice now, both times I’ve had physical examinations and they’ve just said costo. But I only really get pains in my breasts or around them… I’ve been told I’m too young for a mammogram and that it’s probably not anything else but I still feel anxious..

You just reminded me I didn't have a mammogram, but I did have an ultrasound around chest and ribs area. The result was clear so they couldn't find the cause of pain besides Cotsco

🤔If you are particularly anxious and need peace of mind..you could consider having a ‘self referred-private mammogram’..

I have it in my ribs too it is so painful
