Anjee_singh,

Pop over to healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk for advice. It will be helpful if you can post your mother's recent thyroid results and ranges. If you don't have them ask your mother to ask her GP receptionist for a printout of her results.

Anjee_singh,

TSH 2.00 is not primary hypothyroidism but does not exclude central hypothyroidism. Ask your mother to get FT4 and FT3 tested to rule out central hypothyroidism and ask her to have B12 and folate tested as low B12 and folate can cause numbness and tingling in hands.

Anjee_singh,

Tinnitus may be due to low thyroid hormone FT4 and FT3 or could be due to low B12 and folate, as can hand numbness. Ask your mother's doctor to do blood tests.

I agree with this statement completely. When one becomes a mother, the child's well-being must come first. Yes, we are all human, and insecurities are a part of life- but, it is selfish to let those insecurities inform important decisions.

It was too early to hear the heart beat during that sono but I have my 6w4d ultrasound this week. I'm just praying everything goes OK.

Thyroid gland is the largest endocrine glands in the body. It controls how fast the body makes proteins, burns energy and how sensitive the body is to other hormones. Thyroid Dysfunction leads to number of problems; weight gain, increased sensitivity to pain, lowered energy levels, numbness, depression and tinnitus. Tinnitus is a very common effect of dysfunction of thyroid. Tinnitus is the condition of hearing sounds from no external source. The sound can be tv sound, horns, whistle. Hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism are the conditions when thyroid produces too much or not enough thyroxine hormone. These both conditions linked to hearing loss. Pendred Syndrome, Grave’s Disease, and Hashimoto’s Disease are the main causes of hearing loss. To overcome this problem you must treat your thyroid and have some prevention to support thyroid. Use of Iodine, Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin D, E and C. For curing hearing problem, take Sound therapy, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, healthy lifestyle.
