why me
Hi JKS, my friend once said why not me? i agree eventhough it hurts so much sometimes. i think i would be a different person has i not been through my experiences. even bad experiences have positives in them. make a list of the things you're proud of and try to see if your experiences have shaped them. i really think that i'd be less of a person had i not gone through what i did. whatever it is your struggling with, try to deal with them, one at a time at your own pace. Be well!
Hey warrior, thriver friend. Why not me? Yours is the question I asked myself the first few weeks after diagnosis in 2003. Then I answered myself, why not me, what is so special about me that I need to be exempt from this? Do other people deserve to go through this and not me? Mind you it is a very valid question and perhaps we ask it of ourselves and then answer it ourselves. Our experiences in life teach us a lot, they shape our vision of the future and how we should live it. This is a hard journey and we go through a lot of moments of despondency, but let us not live there, let us move through it towards the light. Sending you hugs my warrior friend.
I understand your point just sometimes the pain is hard to endure 😓.
