Saline Infused Ultrasound for Menorrhagia

Just looking for a bit of advice. My PA (USA) is a bit quick and dismissive, so I end with appointments I don't really understand. I've had menorrhagia for 6 months (46yrs old) . Had an endometrial biopsy (normal), two vaginal ultrasounds (adenomyosis and an ovarian cyst), and now they think I might have a polyp (a 'feeder vessel' was spotted whatever that means) and they are looking for it by squiring my womb full with liquid and doing yet another ultrasound.

Anyone had this? Will it hurt? What does it mean if I also have a polyp?

Can anyone share any experience?

Thanks
