Internal Scan and brown blood

I have recently been in for an internal scan and have been experiencing thick brown blood and a few large blood clots for the past few days i was just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced this?

No i can't see how that would be normal, I've had numerous internal scans but never had any kind of bleeding afterwards. I would be either calling the ultrasound suite or my GP for reassurance and advice.

Thank you, I don't really like like calling them in case I'm mithering them for a problem that's very normal. I shall give them a call today! as this is still happening.
