Nefopam for ibs pain

Hi i have been given nefopam for my ibs pain which i am doubled over in pain at times but it is not helping i am on 30 mg 3 times a day snd have only just started today i dont feel its helping with the pain

How long will it take to work? Your pain should start to improve 1 or 2 hours after taking nefopam.nhs.uk › medicines › nefopam

Taking nefopam with other painkillers

You can take nefopam with painkillers such as paracetamol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), like ibuprofen or naproxen.

Some painkillers, like codeine, have similar side effects to nefopam. This means you may get more side effects if you take them together.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any painkillers along with nefopam.
