Recovery/healing may take 4-6wks depending on the individual.

Recovery: what to expect in the next few weeks

Most women feel better within the first week following surgery; however, do not lift, push or pull any heavy objects for a few weeks.

Do not resume sexual intercourse or douche until your doctor says it is OK.

Full recovery takes about four weeks to allow for internal healing.

🤔 Think about what ‘Sofit’ said…

Don’t underestimate the surgery recovery time. Be very careful lifting etc.

🙂 Only you can estimate how well you’ll cope doing your normal job.

I had similar in March. Went to Greece for a very quiet week 10 weeks later. Don’t underestimate the surgery! I’m now off work from RSI aggravating the surgery site.

Thank you! It's 7 years I've been suffering ....I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and the pain and intense bloating just kept getting worse..... my doctor doesn't seem to think that only adenomyosis can cause such intense bloating that I look 8 months pregnant. After doing this surgery he didn't seem to find any endometriosis...very discouraging..no answers...
