Bleeding from vagina after straining and the day after intercourse. Has anyone experienced this?

I have had pre cancerous cells removed from cervix last year after being diagnosed CIN3. Since then I have had bleeding between my periods after straining for a bowel movement and athe day after intercourse. Had my cervix cauterised 2 week ago due to a small ectropion as they thought it could have been that causing the bleeding and a non obstetric ultrasound of pelvis to check ovaries and uterus. Ultrasound results came back normal. Getting frustrated as this bleeding is still happening but don't seem to be getting anywhere with my GP. Seen 3 Dr's and many gynaecologists and they don't know what's causing the bleeding but think because my scan came back normal that it's not nothing sinister and more cervix. Please has anyone else had this problem and found out what was possibly causing it. All i want is answers and Dr's can't seem to give me any answers a year on from all of this starting

Hey 👋🏻

I have some bleeding sometimes during sex I have endometriosis, which can cause bleeding during sex etc and random spotting at times, look into it see if any of the symptoms match u.

I also had cin3 and had cells removed and since all my smears are clear and Hvp is cleared. I also have my cervix cauterised for random bleeds helped for a little while.

Try stay positive it’s very frustrating / scary I no 😞 fingers crossed u manage to find the reason soon

Thank you littleone88. I remember you from my recent posts from when I was first diagnosed with CIN3. Funnily enough I have just been reading your post about drinking actimel every morning. 😊 I had my follow up smear and this shown still hpv positive but no cell change. They have put me back tk smears every 3 years now but had problems with bleeding ever since having my cell removal. It's so frustrating not being able to know what's causing it. Everytime i ring my gp they just say oh this could be hormonal. Is their a test for endometriosis. I have a retroverted uterus also and have heard that endometriosis can sometimes come along with it. The cauterisation of my cervix doesn't seem to have stopped the bleeding unfortunately which is quite upsetting as i was hopping I had found the cause and got it sorted.

Hey yes it’s meee 😊

Yes there is an op it’s called Laparoscopy. They will go in thru ur belly button and look all inside for lesions and inflammation etc.

Yes u need to get ur immune system good so try some vitamins also for immune system no smoking etc will all help ur body fight of the Hvp.

If i was u I would go back to gyno after a few weeks of bleeding is still happening and ask for a colposcopy to have a closer look at cervix again to see why there is bleeding, maybe the scab come off where the cauterised it and it’s being irritated with sex etc?? It’s so frustrating feeling something is wrong and drs being so blasé about it. Xx

Yes i think i will give it a few week as it was only 2 week ago i had the cauterizing done. Not had intercourse as its still early days and waiting 4 weeks to be on the safe side and to give it the most time for healing properly just today litteraly after getting off the phone to my go about my ultrasound results I started to bleed while straining on the toilet. Fingers crossed they take it seriously if it carries on. I am going to start doing that actimel and maybe yakult on a daily. Maybe an actimel of a morning and a yakult for with my lunch break in work. I have been taking womens health probiotics with folic acid primrose oil and vitamin b complexes. Xx

Yeah give it a few weeks see if it eases up. But if not defo go back and make them do something it’s not fair just putting it to hormones especially when it’s clearly playing on ur mind and upsetting u.

R u on any birth control that could cause irregular bleeding etc??

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, there really good for u. Fingers crossed they help u and u can get rid of the infection.

It’s crazy there is this infection tht can cause cell changes tht lead to cancer. So scary thinking about it xx

I know yeah it is scary. Just makes me think all the time that maybe they are missing something. When I look it up online. It says that when cancer has spread from the cervix then it can cause bleeding from vagina after a bowel movement depending on where the cancer has spread to. Then that makes me think that maybe it's not my cervix and somewhere else or that the biopsy results and smears were wrong. I'm not on any birth control at the moment. Was on the Implant and had that taken out last year dye to the bleeding i was having. But still have the bleeding. Want to go on the mini pill but then I'm even scared of messing with my hormones because of the bleeding i have. Need to find a Dr that will listen to me. The ones I have spoke to just say j don't think it's anything sinister causing the bleeding but that's not the answer I need. I need proof to calm my anxiety and it to be stopped from happening. Its ruining my sex life with my patten. I know he understands but it's really making me scared of having sex because I worry if I will bleed or when i will start to bleed xx

Yeah I always think things like that too my mums and friends always moan at my for googling things cos it always brings up the worst case scenarios. I’m sure a lot more would be going on with u of it was cancer somewhere.

The chance of a smear and a biopsy being wrong I don’t see tht happening.

No that’s not the answer you need, u need proper answers defo the only thing to do is try a new dr and get an app at the gyno for a proper look. In bowels and the V.

So what’s causing it.

I worry of bleeding during or after sex too, I find it it’s not wild sex I won’t bleed. Or not to deep it’s ok.. god knows why I had smears all clear and seen on colposcopy all clear, there r so many things tht can cause it so try not to panic xxx

Yes. See its strange because I wont bleed straight after sex it will haven the day after and that's what the Dr is confused about. I will give my cervix a little longer to heal and see what happens. If it carries on I will get back in touch with gp and try to get answers from a different Dr xx

Yes let it heal and then if nothing has changed get back in contact but I’m sure it’s not the big C word try not to panic xx
