Hi everyone I’m Diane and wanted to ask for some stories of hope. I’m 47 and have been feeling awful for a couple of years but this year seems to have peaked. Anyway after a barrage of tests and being told basically it’s in my head and having antidepressants thrown at me I’ve finally convinced my doctor to let me try HRT. I have an underactive thyroid so my hormones haven’t been normal forever. I’m really wanting to hear some positive stories to give me a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. My symptoms have been night sweating, hot flushes, crippling anxiety, breathlessness, fast heart rate and chest pain, heavy periods (although regular different to how they used to be) joint pain, fatigue, headaches, dizziness and mood changes. I’ve had 7 children and to be honest being pregnant (apart from morning sickness) has been the only time my hormones have stayed stable. Hope you all have a great day 🙂
Thanks Diane
