Hi all after advice I keep getting a dull ache but sometimes slightly sharp pain on my lower left front almost above my pubic bone, I’ve had 4 children and all by c section for varying reasons, after my last baby who is now just over 5 months I was sterilised at the same time, du think the pain could be due to this? Or also when I was pregnant and having my 12 week scan the sonographer said I had ovarian cysts but it was never followed up, so could it be this instead? I will phone docs but with Covid19 they just aren’t really seeing anyone, only thought was I have a smear booked for 3 weeks time and might ask advice then
Thank you for any advice 😊x

🤔 I endured chronic pain on both sides for years, eventually investigations discovered adhesions around my ovaries. This was likely caused by surgery I had as a young child. But the pain started many years later after I started taking the pill. And, many years later, a cyst was found on one of my ovaries. Definitely mention your concerns at the smear test.
Have a look into adenomyosis too? I have that which gives me sharp pain on my lower left front, and it is often associated more with people who have had multiple pregnancies and c-sections. Getting anything diagnosis’s or attended to at the minute is really slow due to the pandemic. 🌸
Am having the same on the left side also. I have a history of ovarian cysts, though. They usually go away after a few months. The pain for me is mostly dull (sometimes sharp though) and it is above the pelvic bone. I'm pretty sure I'm in perimenopause and think (hope) my hormones may be fluctuating and causing this. I have PCOS. I've never had a c-section or kids though. Going in next week to request an ultrasound.
