Low Papp A levels

Has anyone had this before please and what was the outcome?

I received a letter from the hospital advising to take 150mg Aspirin a day, and I need to go for extra scans at 32 and 38 weeks.

I stupidly googled and it’s come up with all sorts about stillbirths and Down’s syndrome etc. Just looking for a little reassurance.

Thank you xx

🤔There are several reasons why this may have been prescribed.

Google ‘150mg of aspirin for pregnancy’ and look at the links.

I had Low papp A levels with both of my children. It can put you at a higher risk for disabilities but it isn’t high I Just had to have regular growth scans as it can effect baby growing and cause low birth weight too. Son was 6lb6oz and daughter was 6lb10oz. Both perfectly healthy with no disabilities and very tall for their ages now. Hope this brings you some comfort.

Dr google is the worst!
