Miscarriage

Hi

In December 2018 I had a miscarriage and I never went to clean up thinking that I was fine as I was in early stages (3 months). I have started to experience abdominal pains and I feel like there is something in my womb could it be because I did not clean up? And what bad effects could not cleaning after miscarriage have?

I think this is one for your GP - they ought to have a look to make sure everything is ok.

It’s the physician/ doctor you attend for routine medical issues (General Medical Practitioner in the UK).

You mean you didn’t have a scan?if you take a pregnancy test and it’s negative there will be no tissue I had a misscarrige last year at 12.5 week and that is what they say they don’t do clean ups per say that’s old fashioned terms

So you are suggesting that I go see my doctor?

Just take a pregnancy test that’s all you don’t need a doctor if the test is negative it shows the pregnancy tissue is gone it should be gone anyway that’s 1.5 years ago

It is very important to see a doctor in case it was incomplete which can cause infection. It happened to me .

Have they explored the reason for the miscarriage? Could be pcos, endometriosis or something gyne related. Take care x
