Help understand NAFLD and inflammation.. my biopsy

I have NAFLD INHAD A BIOPSY done and now they say I have 90% damage I need help understand this because my Doctor just makes me feel like I’m dead already.. I have lost 50 pounds in 3 months I’m only eating greens and fruits water and black coffee. Idk I have a second opinion tomorrow I pray for hope. I’m a mother of 7 kids and I’m scared

🤔Is it possible your doctor may have said ‘Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is now the commonest cause of chronic liver disease in many developed countries.1 Up to a third of the population have evidence of steatosis on imaging,2 ,3 with the majority (70%–90%) having simple steatosis’.. when referring to 90%.

Please let us know what happened at your 2nd opinion.

Ok so yesterday visit was encouraging, this new Doctor said yes I have 90%Damage yes I have stage 2 fibrosis but I have lost so much weight and that a positive and he feels like I can reverse this and NO I don’t need the Bariatric surgery not now he said if in 3 months If don’t lose 20 pounds and he will do another scan and if it hasn’t changed then he will then see about the Bariatric surgery.. he said I had more then 1-2 years so that was enough to encourage me🙏 I feel motivated I’m going to fight this.. my first Liver specialist wanted me to get a Bariatric surgery but in wanted another opinion on that.. I pray in 3 months I could change this with dropping weight
