I need to delay my period

Hey guys I’m on the maexeni combined pill levonorgestrel/Ethinylestradiol 150/30 and have so far taken 2 21 day packs together but really need to take a 3rd. I have friends that always take 3 packs together then have a period. Would it be okay to do so in this instance? It’ll only be this one occasion where I’d ever take 3 packs together, it’s just as I’m going away and don’t want a period for this week.

Thank you

You don't technically need to have a period at all with the pill, so three months should be absolutely fine. I have a friend who is under doctors orders to take 6 packs back to back, if that eases your mind at all.

Thank you so much, I was worrying because the pack says only 2 allowed back to back but I’m certain the doctor at the clin said I could do 3. But then I read the nhs site which said 2 aswell as it can cause sickness or something. Thank you for your reply 😊

My doctors have always told me it’s fine to take max 3 packs back to back. And then you should have a break. You may have some very light bleeding - but that’s just your body telling you it’s ready for a period!
