Don’t sleep

I’m currently on 150 mg Levothroxine and going thru menopause, I’m managing symptoms so far, no period for 10 months now but suffer from hot flushes and night sweats but my main problem is I DON’T SLEEP. I have no trouble dropping off to sleep as I’m always tired but when I think I’ve been asleep for hours I check clock and only been 2, then it’s the usual awake every half hour. Is there anything I can take to help me get a restful night I feel exhausted 😞

Probably best to post your question on ThyroidUK forum so they can look at your results (if you have them) and advise.

Menopause was the "pits" for me...I remember it very well...and at 70 I was still hot flashing and night sweating and not sleeping through the night. My doctor finally gave in and I'm now on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy...very low dose). I'm now better! No more hot flashing....no more night sweats....and I sleep very well at night. Anyway, a lot of women still refuse to take the HRT, but the big study that scared us all off of the treatment was skewed and not reliable at all...good luck...I feel your pain, girl.
