Pregnant

I recently found out I was pregnant (friday). It’s weird, because I have felt weird symptoms for a few weeks now. Then when I was 3 days late I took two tests that confirmed that I am. I still want to go to the doctor before I get all happy, I’m trying not to be too excited. I’m so scared of being let down. Unfortunately since it is the holiday season and today’s a Sunday, I can’t seem to find an available doctor. Should I wait another week? Should I go to urgent care? I want to make sure I am pregnant for sure. I also want to make sure I am okay,and if there’s any other things I need to get done before this break is over (my job is such long hours I never have the time to see a doctor).

This is my first time being pregnant. I don’t know who to talk to about this, or who to ask questions to.

Hi, unless you are bleeding going to doctor won’t tell you much except them doing another pregnancy test. If you are already 3 days late and done tests both positive pretty sure you are pregnant ! So congratulation! Once you seen doctor they will provide you with midwife details and you would need to book appointment to see her, you will most likely see her in few weeks time. Good luck x

Hi, I know what you mean when you say you’ve been getting weird symptoms for the last few weeks. I’ve had 4 pregnancies and every time BEFORE I done a test or went to the Drs I’d get these weird “ butterflies “ in my stomach, the kind you get when you go on a scary fairground ride, I’d buy a pregnancy test which was positive, make the appointment with my Dr and he’d he’d say I was “ only 3 or 4 wks, quite early if you are “ and then after doing the test he’d say “ well, congratulations, you were right, you are pregnant ! “ . My Dr said it was extremely rare to feel butterflies etc but it can happen !! It ALWAYS happened to me before I’d done the test or visited The Drs.
