Adrenal glands

Information please can anyone enlighten me, Iv reduces my pred down from 60mg June 2017 to 5 mg ( diagnosed GCA) I’m now using the dead slow method.

How will I know if my Adrenal glands start working? I know there are test I can have done, but what do they entail.

Thank you

Pam

This is the test you are thinking of. Basically they take blood from you before giving an injection in your thigh muscle and then do another blood test a little while later and can tell from the results if your adrenals are working. They should start to kick in when you get down to 7mg pred a day.
