miscarriage and lost ovary

Hi everyone, I have recently had a miscarriage. The baby stop growing at 7 weeks however I didn’t find out until 13 weeks when I had very small bleeding. When dealing with the miscarriage the doctors also confirm big cyst on my right ovary and as noting has been done with the cyst for 2 weeks this resulted in my ovary to twist and untimely a removal. I am really worried now we will find hard to get pregnant again and if we do the pregnancy will go well. Does anyone had similar situation and had manage to have a healthy baby after ?

Hi JessyJessy, I'm very sorry for your loss - it sounds like you'd been through an awful spell. I'm afraid I've not been through anything similar, but would definitely recommend speaking to your doctor about when would be safe to try to conceive again. Many people miscarry and go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies, and I'm sure you'll be one of them!

I'm sorry you've had to go through this but I can give you some positive news.

I lost my right ovary in my early teens due to a very large cyst but in later years had 3 children, I had 3 easy pregnancies and 3 very healthy babies, try not to worry as that won't help, think positive 🙂
