Period type pain but on depo injection? Worried!

Can anyone help at all? Iv been on depo injection for 2 years I’m 37 have two children, prior to depo I was on implanon for 9 year. About 8 months after starting depo I have been getting pelvic pain like a dull ache, also cramp like back ache radiating to thighs. I also feel like my stomach insides are raw like someone has scraped them out with a spoon, also it feels like sometimes my insides will fall out through my vagina or a feeling like you will have a period that will just suddenly start, I don’t get any bloating or anything.these symptoms come on about 2-3 weeks before depo is due and then fade for a couple of weeks but come back again when I’m due to have another about 2-3 weeks before hand. I’m worried and scared to go to doctors. Does anyone know what this might be it just feels as though I’m having a really bad period but I don’t have them.

Sorry for your experiences with Depo shots so far. I was on Depo for a year before I stopped, because i want to have another baby. I had experiences similar to yours, and it was always happening close to my renewal date. Also during that period, I get some flow of blood, but they say it isn't a menstrual flow.

I think it is as the result of the hormones wearing out. Remember the effects also differs with individuals. I had that feeling but not as severe as yours. So your might want to consider seeing the consultant, or changing the plan totally.
