anjee_singh,

Can you pop over to healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk Please post your mother's recent thyroid results and ranges and say what dose thyroxine she is taking. If she has had a blood tests for B12 and folate please post them too. Pins and needles and numbness in hands and feet is often due to B12 deficiency which is common in vegetarian and vegan people.

Have you been able to find the Thyroid forum on here yet?

Also -

Are you able to go with your Mother to see her doctor? I usually write a list of my symptoms and questions. I think it would be a good idea for your Mother to ask the doctor about these symptoms. Do you know what tablets your Mother is taking for her Thyroid condition? Do you now the details of her blood tests results? There are no doctors on here. No one is medically qualified and no one can diagnose .

Are you in the UK? Have you considered asking her GP for blood tests to check her Vitamin B12 and Folate levels?
