What could this stain on my foot be?

Does anyone know what could cause a rusty/orange type stain on the sole of my feet? It's just appeared. Actually looks like a tan colour but I have not used any tanning solution or stepped in anything of that colour. Should I see the doctor or just leave it?

I googled and found others commenting on the same thing😳

Suggestions varied from hard/soft water, to hypothyroidism🤔 but that was someone's opinion, and not confirmed by medical professional.

As always, anything new and unusual which is causing concern, discuss it with your GP.

Keep a diary of when you first noticed it, whether it's changed shape/colour etc. Or appeared anywhere else.

Nine times out of ten your mind will be put at rest there and then 🙂 xB

Do you think I should see the doctor? I feel silly but I've tried scrubbing it off and it won't come off so it must be something related to my body.

I've no idea.? Is there any itching or tingling? Perhaps best to have it checked out, could be a form of verruca or something.

Has your doctor sent you to get an appointment with an Endocrinologist to be checked? Diabetics have issues with their feet and other body parts here and there. When this happens, the blood sugars can go out of control (go high/low).

I've not been referred to one no coz my TSH Level is normal even though I Have thyroid symptoms.
