Abnormal Long Period

I don't normally go online for questions like these but I'm not sure when I'll be able to make a Dr. appointment or if I even should. I just moved and don't have a Dr. set up yet so I don't want to make it a priority if I don't have to.

The current problem:

I thought I started my period Feb.14th, I was in a hurry and didn't really look but I believe it was actually just a kinda dark red clot. I put it a regular tampon and it was still dry when I took it out that evening...

It's been 9 days now and I either have no period all day, a small flow part of the day, or nothing and suddenly a big gush that ruins my pants, the seat of my car, tons of paper towels, and had me sitting in the bathroom for a long time.

Sometimes it is old and brown, or it can be like a normal period. Sometimes it's thick and with some clots(which can be normal for me but it was a bit more than usual), other times it's more runny.

I have been have abdominal pains on and off but nothing too severe, but I have been feeling pretty nauseas on and off as well-though I do normally have stomache issues it feels different.

I am in a sexual relationship, we don't have sex that often though and we use condoms. But 2-3 weeks ago we did have a condom break and I haven't been on any birth control for over a year(Implananon)

As far as my history I did have D&C about a year ago, and I had to go back for a second one because their was still material left over after the first one and it was causing crazy clotting and pain.

I'm not sure if there is any other info that pertains to this, let me know if I missed something.

I greatly appreciate ANY advice.

*After going to Express Care I found out I am 5 weeks pregnant, there is nothing wrong right now but I need to be very careful.

Thanks!

What age are you? I had some of these symptoms and out seems they were just part of the peri-menopause which brings (really) irregular periods. But a couple of things that would be more worrying - 'old' brown blood, pain, clots that are bigger than the palm of your hand AND sounds like you're too young for peri-menopause. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

Hi EllaMegan😊

Register with a doctor/health centre, you should have medical advice about this.

Or, you could go to a Walk-in Clinic.

Get some attention in case there's a chance of infection setting in.

Thank you guys!

I am 21 by the way but

I did end up going to an Express Care last night and I am actually 5weeks pregnant.

My body just doesn't do well with pregnancy and I need to be a lot more careful, but for now everything is fine!

Just going to be uncomfortable for a while :)
