What a day!!
I had a real burst of energy today so this morning I cleaned all my skirting boards, gave my carpets a deep clean, got down on my hands & knees to vigorously brush down my stairs and took the kids on a brisk walk to our local farm shop to buy eggs... *phew*
BTW, I bought half a dozen local duck eggs, haven't had duck eggs before, I have now and I can say yes, I like them the girls weren't so sure "they've got green shells, Mummy", actually, I think they're duck egg blue, I'll give them one next time I do scrambled egg.
My disappointment came when I tallied up my calories over my 1400kcal guide by 228kcals
gutted *sigh* what took me over? Cooking my omelette at dinner in British cold pressed rapeseed oil. (1 tablespoon = 224kcals) I wont be doing that again.
I am determined to end the day on an up, so, even though I ate more calories than I thought, it is still a great deal less that I would have eaten last week before starting on this 12 week plan AND I burned off so much that it was as though I'd had less than 1000kcals today!!
All in all a good day I feel
Tomorrow is Good Friday. I have Hubby & my Girls with me and I'm trying to persuade Hubby that a nice long walk down Bournemouth way would do us all good.
