Are we having a Monday weigh-in, as most of us started on that day?

Why not?

How about just posting it on the Community blog.

My weight this morning was a tad down on Friday's at 89.9 kgs.

Actually folks - no it wasn't!

That's a typo. It was 98.9 kgs.

Whoops!

I started at 11st 5lbs. On Friday I was 11st 4lbs, and today I weighed in at 11st 3lbs. So that is 2 lbs for the first week. I am really pleased with that. I have not been hungry at all, and I think that calorie counting is the only way for me to lose weight. Thanks for your reply Doikosp.

Ok, I'll hop into this data stream too, seeing that I missed Friday's weight-in. Weight: gained 1 lb, but as I had expected that, it wasn't a surprise. Waist: lost 1 inch and that was a pleasant surprise.

Exercise: I managed to keep to my training plan, just. Life can really throw you a curve ball sometimes. I also started a women's only boot-camp on Wednesday evening and discovered that regular running doesn't mean all muscle groups get equal exercise. Thursday and Friday had a lot of 'ouches' in it.

Fruit and veg - yup, made five a day no problem. It would seem a vegetarian delivers a lot of bonuses in more ways than one.

Just to deviate slightly, I am having major problems setting up a training plan on Runkeeper that fits with the dates that I want - does anybody know of a workaround re starting dates?

I was going to wait and list todays weight on Friday but im so pleased that i cant wait that long. This morning i weighed in at 175lb down from 181lb last monday so thats 6lb this week, 13lb since i restarted 3 weeks ago today and 73lb in total from my highest known weight.

I so wish every week could be like this :o)

Well done sinope82. That's a big loss. Usually it's only your first week that you have such a big loss.

I know, i felt like i had lost a bit at the end of last week but i wasn't expecting anything like that big a loss. I'm really not going to complain though, still have a long way to go but that has certainly helped :o)

Monday weigh in would suit me better as I weigh myself on the Sunday morning (only day I can get a bit of time and privacy at home). I did post yesterday that I had not lost anything last week - seem to have hit a plateau. I know I need to look at portions as I have probably just gotten a bit lazy about that. Fingers crossed for next week!

well this is week 5 for me. wasnt able to do much exercise last week as i really hurt my knee. so weighed in yesterday morning i wasnt expecting to lose anything but i have managed to 1lb this week. Then realise that it is woman's week this week. so feeling a bit crapy today, so hope i can keep up with the exercise this week and hopefully lose some more next week.

good luck everyone x

I am on my second week, I started on a Monday at 11st 8lbs and Monday this week I was 11st 5lbs. I really please and feel great about it. Ive come down with old today though and I'm worried it's going to knock me off route! I'm also going tonireland with family at the weekend which means temptation with full Irish breakfast! Hopefully I can blog on Monday saying I've lost some more weight!
