The meal mixer is fab, made the chili con carne the other day and it was both cheap and very tasty!
Can i download the meal mixer onto my laptop?
Not sure about that but you can definitely download it as an app on an iPhone and Android phone.

I am trying to lose weight and tone up my body and to do this i am thinking of using a rowing machine, would this be a good way of toning up my whole body in one workout instead of using different equipment each time?
Rowing machines can offer a full body workout. Your arms are pulling, your legs are pushing and your core is engaged.
For the rowing to improve your cardio and burn fat, go for longer rowing sessions with a lighter tension.
To know if you're working hard enough, you need to be breaking into a sweat - although you don't need to be out of breath.
Do a bit of research online for correct rowing machine technique.
That said, running is the most effective calorie burner and muscle toner (unless you're into cross-country skiing!)
For info a 70kg person burns:
-rowing (moderate effort) - 163 calories in 20 min
-running (6 mph) - 233 calories in 20 min
Good luck.
Thank you for your advice, because i have not done any exercise for years and i am overweight how long should i make my sessions last for at first until i get used to it?
It's important to build up gradually. Don't attempt too much, too soon.
If you're rowing, start with 5 minutes and start adding a minute or two every so often, depending on how you feel.
You could also mix it up with some walking on the treadmill (assuming you have access to one), again starting with 5 minutes and building gradually.
I also recommend listening to music while exercising (if it's safe to do so). Here's why:

Getting back into shape after years of inactivity is quite exciting because you'll start to feel the benefits quite quickly.
Come back to me if your routine starts to get boring and I can suggest other options.
I downloaded the app but couldn't get the meal mixer to open - and that goes for the website too. Pity this programme is not running in scotland
Are you in Scotland? I'm not sure if that should affect things.
Are you still having problems with the downloading? If you are I'll look into it for you.
Yes I am in Scotland, however I got into the website last night but have uninstalled the App. I am happy now that I am able to access info on the site.
You could try using quorn instead of meat both the mince and chicken are really good and don't have many calories ,also you can use the carrot and swede bought fresh in tesco for the topping in a shepherds pie it's very tasty and low in calories and price
