If it was pure salad then - yes but avoid the obvious croutons and tempting sauces that come with it . I never buy pure salad from anywhere . I have now got into a routine of taking these from home as I know what is in them but I always add protein - so your choice but I even flavour my cottage cheese . My friend likes a boiled egg with a teaspoon of marmite . Me not but I pinch a lot of her idea. If I am at home I have loads of canned fish .

Chicken burger - I just grill chicken with loads of spices and eat with rye bread and a salad .If not bread and you are hungry then try a salad with canned beans like kidney , chick peas which I add herbs and a dash of balsamic vinegar . I wouldn't have shop bought or takeout as most are ultra processed . Good to see you are swopping and tweaking .

I am now back to maintaining and a bit stuck after shedding 4kg but I feel any more tweaks and I will become miserable .

Food swaps making good choices.I just had a tuna sandwich with lentil soup, I am full.

I wrongly ate and two packets of crisps a milky way bar because I was out and couldn't stop to eat lunch.

I think most of us do this in a rush . Worst for me is sporting events where choice is scarce . Others buy at half time and lazily I ask for a snack because I follow others . I now put a piece of fruit in the car . Sometimes because it isn't crisps , chocolate etc I don't eat it at all .

Yes the other day I had an apple with me I went out and it got late I'd waited till I got home before I had a late lunch, but I did snack.I wonder whether I should try to cut out lunch but I wonder whether it's best to just have lunch in a controlled way rather than snacking which calorific adds up.

I'm doing 10 minute hit exercises in three sessions at least alternate days.

Went back to the park walk today as the weather is okish.
