I'm trying to get better at tracking my calories, but I'm not sure what the best method is. Does anyone have any recommendations for apps or tools that they find helpful?

Some people use MyFitnessPal or FitBit app if you have a smartwatch or tracker. It depends what you prefer and what works best for you.
Thank you so much for sharing that helpful resource! I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. I'll definitely check out the NHS website and app. It's great to know that there are so many different options for tracking calories. I'll experiment with a few different apps to see what works best for me.
Your encouragement means a lot. I'm feeling more motivated to start my weight loss journey!
I too recommend the free version MyFitnessPal as you can scan foods and it gives you basic macros with guidance on percentages that is helpful on what your max is .
I like the LoseIt app. I've been using it for years and have a Lifetime account but I have used the free version, too, though it's been a while since I've used the free one.
That's awesome! Lose It! is a great app and I've heard many good things about it. It's great that you've had such positive experiences with both the free and premium versions.
I'm curious, what do you find most helpful about the app? Is it the barcode scanner, the community features, or something else?
