Good news or bad news that's how my PT put the question to me during my weigh in. I'm a pragmatic person so I said "bad". He said well, bad news is you're going to have to keep doing what you've been doing (weight plateau?) good news is, you lost 2.5kg since last week.
Bastard! It's what I would have said if it were me. So, I played around with my Macros trying to achieve a better balance of Protein, Carbs and fats.
The last couple of days I managed to stick to the diet as written. Its early days yet but its encouraging. I want to try and put together as many of these days as I can to establish a valid pattern of eating.
In a previous post I wrote about how a few episodes of My 600lb life can really bring things into focus. These episodes resonated and Dr Nows simple dietary math proved to be a calculation I could take on board. So, the only thing I find of minor annoyance is how far I could have progressed if I'd have got out of my own way.
Still, I have no time or inclination to be overly harsh with myself, it's wasted energy. So, one day at a time, stick to my goals, think about what I'm eating and those far away goal posts will get easier to see.
