Having a bad week

β€’14 Replies

So start of week (I weigh on a Friday) was bad as had a long weekend of birthday celebrations for my mum's big birthday, was away with work Monday and now can't get back on it. Was trying to be good today but it all went pear shaped when I got home and couldn't stop eating. I'm only on week 3 of 12 week plan. Gonna try and stick to it next 2 days for damage control. Just a bit fed up about this week as had a good first week and was so determined. Oh well, maybe just start again next week 😟

Don't give up! Shake it off and start again tomorrow! Every day is a new day. You got this. We are not defined by our bad or our good days, but how we rebound and adapt!

Trust me, I get it. But, you've come this far. You've got this!

Thank you. I needed that. I AM going to stick to my calories tomorrow and Thursday and hope it's not to much of a gain on Friday. Thank you

I feel for you Hidden . I am convinced that sugar is an addiction. When i go back to eating cake, sweets etc, it triggers cravings and I just can't stop! The only good thing I can tell you is that it happens to me less and less these days. I avoid sugar as far as possible, and I really don't miss it....until that day when I think, ok, I can "afford" a cake or whatever, I've earned it, I'll just have one. But I can't just have one...I can't stop once I've started. I've been doing this for over six months now, and I'm feeling really good on the whole, but I know the dangers (even though I can't always avoid them).

You will get there, just climb back on the wagon with us! πŸ‘

Thank you. I think it was the cream tea on Friday followed by lots of birthday cake that did it for me. All cake gone from my house now so I'm hoping to get back on it tomorrow with a more positive mindset.

Everybody falls of the wagon Hidden its climbing back on that makes us winners 😊

Every day is a chance to get it right. You can do this. 4 difficult days is not going to wipe out 2 successful weeks.

We are all cheering you on!

Thank you. I am determined honest I've just lost my way this week. Will do my very best these next 2 days to stay on calories and hope it's not to much gain. Thank you for your reply

Are you joining in with the Daily Diary? It's really useful for helping us keep on track 😊

I haven't joined in with the daily diary yet but definitely will think about it.

Don't let a bad day turn into many. Keep going! You can do this!

Don't worry about the fact that you fell off for a couple of days it's just that you should remember it is the reason that you joined in the first place that should help you get back on as well. No-one will think badly of you. Good luck.
