About 6 months ago at 43 I decided to attempt to stop drinking and focus on my health. I originally weighed in at 222 lbs and suffered from chronic fatigue, low motivation and poor sleeping habits. I have recently started TRT which has balanced out my testosterone and helped me keep going. I started walking 10k steps and strength training again and focusing on protein goals of 1g per body weight. I also have been trying to eat healthier choices (still suck at) but better to try and fail then do nothing. In the beginning I was getting completely frustrated due to the scale not moving much at all. Did some reading and found that this happens and is considered body transformation by turning fat into muscle. So the scale won't move much which completely sucks when you're expecting it to. Thankfully I took some before pictures and was able to see the difference. Really just wanted to post in case someone else is going through something similar and maybe this will help.Everyday can be a struggle but I believe it will be worth it later.

Clearly working for you but please ensure any enhancements you decide to sign up to are safe . This is a for life lifestyle and do something you can maintain and fit in to your daily life . So many end up going mad for a few months then not being able to follow regime , experience side effects or simply find the programme restrictive in terms of time and social life . I have tried loads during my 64 years on this planet . I maintain by not overthinking so just 3 meals a day , no snacks and no eating after about 7pm but if asked out I do a main course and just don't make an issue about it . As I lost weight my exercise regime became easier as I wasn't lugging around weight . My husband didn't even release I tweaked our food . He lost / now maintains 11 kg by just eating what I cook .
