I am type 2 diabetic and went on ozempic as as a weight loss tool and to bring my sugar down. It is working but the side effects don't seem worth it. When my dosage of ozempic goes up The side effects come back. Does anyone have the same issues?

Ozempic
I don't know anything about ozempic so I can't help with that. I do know that some members here have found the side effects of weight loss tablets unpleasant and not to be recommended.
The most important thing with T2 diabetes is cut out carbs. You might find this helpfulhealthunlocked.com/weight-l.... The replies from Bridgegirl and moreless give some useful information. I would suggest you read them.
I was prediabetic and reduced my blood sugars to normal following a low carb diet. I found the dietdoctor website very useful. The link is in the above reply from BridgeGirl.
It is possible to lose weight and reverse T2 without tablets. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Yes, there is no essential nutrition on carbs so it does no harm to cut them out completely in time. The body may take some time to adjust to getting calories from fats rather than carbs but some have reversed Type2 diabetes in as little as three weeks. The weight may take longer but it's only a symptom of the wrong diet rather than the cause of diabetes.
