My Diary #1 - And I'm off!

I am determined to get back on track. Starting now!

For today, I will log in the food I eat, drink more water and go for a good walk.

I have found there are three keys I need to be successful. Eating right (counting my calories and logging in my food), moving more (walking and exercising) and community (talking about how I feel, reading how others are maneuvering through this maze of weight loss - participating). It sounds so simple - and some moments are easier than others, but it's all about mindset for me.

I know I can do this. I have done this before and I know what it takes.

So... I am getting on the road.... here I go!

I've edited the title of your post so there's no confusion with our Daily Diary. Pop over there now, post your meal plans for tomorrow and join in the chat :)

By the way, if you're healthy, it's fine to drink when you're thirsty, not to some set figure that we're "supposed" to drink. You might find this interesting mcgill.ca/oss/article/healt...

Counting calories doesn't work long term. The only permanent solution is to cut out sugars and starches.
