Does this look like a healthy body composition?
Personally it isn’t what anyone thinks . It is up to you what you see . I don’t want to be very slim as at 63 years old it makes me look scrawny and older but if I was 20 - before I had children I was overjoyed at being under 50kg - 5ft 1 . My son does bouldering, kick boxing - all muscle but on a chart would be overweight. 2 others who run 26k marathons are lean and maybe boarder line weight wise . I would focus on what the food / exercise is doing to you internally. I overlooked this in my 20’s. Eat mindfully , good sleep and balanced exercise. From the body outline you look great but it is you who needs to be happy and take the good food as a lifestyle.
I was just a little concerned cause 32% body fat is considered obese. Some websites even say that a fat percentage higher than 25% is too high for my age.
These are general guidelines and we are all different. Start by looking at what you are eating . I eat 3 good balanced meals per day . It is the snacks that concern me . I have a fairly manual job but if like my husband you work from home then his daily lunchtime walk is great both physically and mentally. If you are on a weight loss journey then small steps , don’t have crazy expectations as the improved diet helps in multiple ways. There is superb advice on this site about nutrition or start with MyFitnessPal free App which will scan barcodes and give basic daily macros as you input your food diary but I only did this for a month out of sheer monotony and kind of getting obsessive/ nuisance . Please ask any questions as the group here have similar experiences
At 20 years old/, no it should not worry you ,who cares you should not care, It`s what`s inside that matters and if you are happy ... All power to you.
Welcome to our friendly forum and thank you for your support. You are right that how we feel is important not what others think. Are you on a weight loss journey? If so please let me know and I will give you more information about the forum. You are very welcome anyway.
The thing you've got to remember is that a lot of the body fat % calculators (and scales) are literally just estimating and without actually being scanned the figure is really just a stab in the dark! Try to look at it as a rough guesstimate rather than a factual result! Your waist is well below the NHS recommended 80cm for women so I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you!
